- Why MP4, AVI, WMV files can not be played with disc players to the TV?

MP4, AVI, WMV files are streaming media files, it must require compatible software/hardware devices to play. Most common DVD or BD players on the market are not compatible with streaming media files, and it can not install other applications like personal computers to play.
Streaming media files usually require a file conversion into standard video formats (DVD/ BD VIDEO), and so it can be compatible with the player. Another way to make it work is that you can convert the files into MP4 format, and save it in a USB Flash Drive. Most current LCD TVs have USB ports, and it usually support MP4 files. In this way, the files can be played with MP4 format.
► Disc: Streaming media files are not standard video formats (DVD / BD VIDEO), and thus most players do not support to play. If you want to play it with a player, and we suggest you to convert the files into standard video formats (DVD / BD VIDEO).
► USB Flash Drive: Please check your player has (1) USB ports (2) Compatible with certain formats, and it can play the files.

- Why do AVI, MP4, WMV those files, proceed the conversion into DVD VIDEO, the image quality will down

AVI, MP4, WMV...are streaming media files. Most DVD players only support standard video formats (DVD VIDEO), 720x480, and the data rate is 8Mb per second.
When your image quality and data rate are better than the standard video formats (DVD VIDEO), it will automatically downgrade to 720x480 in order to comply with the standard, and therefore the image quality is less good. If you want to keep the image quality, BD VIDEO would be a better option for you.

AVI, MP4, WMV...Files are streaming media files, it requires higher certain software/hardware specs to access. You can save the files in a harddisk to access, and it can be much easier to read.

In general, all the music CDs on the market are Audio CD format, and Audio CD format uses audio track to save the file in a CD, not MP3, wav, m4a...those common digital music formats.
