- Why my CD/DVD/BD player and device can not read the disc?

► Caution: We offer RMA service if your order occurs disc defect problems. However, if it is not disc quality problems, and we can not assist you. Please check your discs with other disc players or devices for clarifying the problem. Please kindly understand in advance.
- The files can not be played, and it’s unstable during the play ?

- Can DVD players support Blu-ray Disc?

- Does Windows Media Player play the Blu-ray Disc?

►Windows Media Playerdoes not support the Blu-ray disc,If you want to play a Blu-ray disc, and we recommend you to use the applications supporting the Blu-ray disc.
► Other streaming applications (Ex. GOM Player, POT Player…etc) might not completely support the Blu-ray disc as well, especially for the anti-copy Blu-ray discs.

- Does DVD have its own region codes?

► Yes, DVDs have its own region codes.
It’s common to see DVDs have its own region codes due to the commercial factors. Most movie and video publishers would like to manage the regions around the world, and restrain the exports for their business interests. However, some DVDs do not have region codes, and thus those DVDs can be played on any compatible device over the world.
Also, it’s common to see the problem that a region(1) only DVD can’t be played on a region(2) only DVD player. It will show up like this “ERROR: Playing Of This Disc Prohibited By Area Limits is displayed on the DVD player.” when you attempt to play a region(1) only DVD with a region(2) only DVD player.
DVD region codes and geographic scope:
Region code / Area
(0) / ALL Worldwide. These discs have all region-1-through-8 flags set, allowing the discs to be played in all regions.
(1) United States (incl. Puerto Rico), Canada, and Bermuda
(2) Europe (except Belarus, Russia, Ukraine and CIS), Greenland, British Overseas Territories, Overseas France, Middle East, Eswatini, Lesotho, South Africa, and Japan
(3) Southeast Asia, South Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau
(4) Latin America (except French Guiana and Puerto Rico), Caribbean (except French West Indies), and Oceania (except French Polynesia, New Caledonia, Wallis and Futuna, and Hawaii)
(5) Africa (except Egypt, Lesotho, Eswatini, South Africa, Mayotte and Réunion), Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Central Asia, South Asia, Mongolia, and North Korea
(6) Mainland China

- Does Blu-ray Disc have its own region codes?

►Yes, Blu-ray Discs also have its own region codes.
However, Blu-ray Discs are different from DVDs, it use alphabets instead of numbers, and each alphabet stands for a certain region.
The Blu-ray Disc region-coding scheme divides the world into three regions, labeled A, B, and C.
Region / Area
(A) Americas, Hong Kong, Japan, North Korea, South Korea, Macau, Singapore, Taiwan, Oceania (excluding Australia and New Zealand), Southeast Asia.
(B) Africa, Middle East, Southwest Asia, most of Europe (excluding Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Moldova), Australia, New Zealand.
(C) Central Asia, China, Mongolia, Indian subcontinent, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Moldova.
(FREE) Informal term meaning "worldwide". Region free is not an official setting; discs that bear the region FREE symbol either have no flags set or have all three flags set. Discs with no flags set may not play in some non-compliant players.

- Why the DVD video quality is not so clear on my display device?

According to the DVD-Video international standards, the resolution is 720x480,aspect ratio is 4:3.
However, the most current televisions/displays resolution are commonly 1920x1080(1080p), the resolution can not be perfectly matched, and result in this awkward situation.
The image quality specifications are as following below:
►Traditional Television / DVD Video
Resolution: 720x480, aspect ratio: 4:3
►HD (High Definition)
Resolution: 1280x720 (720p), about 1 million pixels, aspect ratio: 16:9
Commonly used on most streaming-websites.
►Full HD (Full High Definition)
Resolution: 1920x1080 (1080p), about 2 million pixels, aspect ratio 16:9
Commonly used on most current television, Blu-ray Discs.
►2K (4X High Definition)
Refers to a resolution of more than 2000 pixels in the horizontal direction
about 3 million pixels.
Resolution: mainstream includes 2560x1440 and 2048x1080 two types, and others are 2048x1536 (iPad 3rd generation), 2560x1600 (WQXGA).
►4K (UHD) Ultra High Definition
about 8 million pixels
Resolution: typically 4096x2160
Others are 4096x3112 (Full Aperture 4K), 3656x2664 (Academy 4K)
